I think some of the best fodder for sitcoms is natural disasters. Goodnight Burbank combined both an earthquake and car chases, where each could have been handled in their own episode, which is what I would have done. But, I'm a lazy writer.Of course, the cast and crew of this show are not lazy and show it in frenetic energy of something always coming next. Already noticing some devices with the comedy, and a note of predicability is fully appreciated in the fast pace.I'm eagerly awaiting more character development with these guys, not only for the head anchors, but for all the cast, as I can see is starting to occur. I'm hoping for more with the remote reporters who are clearly in front of green screens, and would love to see the beginning of a weather report.

The writing on this show is so brilliant. I can't stop laughing. The "unscripted" on air moments are amazing. I'm in tears,

I probably shouldn't have written so much with the first episode, then I'd have more to say. Let's see ... "Hayden isn't camera friendly" yeah said that ... I like the Elizabeth Chivers character and Holly Johnson. We aren't granted much from the Holly character unless it's slapstick falls and mentions of her unborn baby, but holy hell is she cute. That Nadira Farhad the makeup girl is smoking hot too - I would nadira her farhad like crazy, am I right? Elizabeth Chivers, I remember her from Dollhouse - as there's lots of Joss Whedon castaways on Goodnight Burbank, like Clare Kramer ... man, she's hot. Lot's of wonderful vaginas in this show. Laura Silverman from that awesome part on House & her sister's show (can't think of the name of it) ... anyway, her vag is expensive - like a fine European purse. You can't just stick any old thing in a quality handbag you know. Genevieve Nigwua takes most of the racist jabs. It gets old, Tired jokes about someone that's black and anything that references the color black - it's like she's there just to be the punchline. Diahnna Nicole Baxter is way to good for that kind of lameness. uhm - there's some fine penis in the show too for the ladies, but naturally I can't point them out without being labeled a "package handler" ... That's what the show needs!!! More gay guys!!!
