I agree. My dad watches a couple boys (ages 12 and 19) with autism once a week and I often go over to just hang out with them.
There's such a stigma surrounding autism. . .it's frustrating.
The 2 boys are like brothers to me. . .I love them just as they are.

Stop drinking that kool-aid, Jason. Vaccines had absolutely nothing to do with Autism and both that researcher and his research have been thoroughly debunked as fraud. Autism is genetic, sorry if you don't like hearing that and sorry you're so intolerant you can't believe an Autistic or Aspergers child can be anything other than incoherent vegetables. Studies proved that many cases of Autism are the result of waiting to have children to the point the gametes are crappy, a side effect of IVF, the result of drug use by the grandparents or parents, or just flat hereditary. The only traitors are those parents who write off their children as hopeless when they may be perfectly intelligent but just trapped inside. One of the top Autism speakers in the country must have nurses, aides, and a secretary with her because she is completely unable to care for herself, control her body functions, or communicate outside of her speech device, but she has a 170 IQ and if you read her papers instead of saw her in person, you would never know she had Autism at all. There are plenty of famous people with Asperger's and Autism, so wake up and smell the coffee.   See 1 other reply
