Assuming she's not talking in Celsius, 10 degrees is cold. Isn't 32 already freezing? Since she's also talking about it being 10 in Siberia, then you have to consider Wind Chill into the equation. The unprotected body can experience it as 10 degrees colder. That said, is zero cold enough for you? It is also a fact that a person needs two weeks to acclimate to a place with a significantly different temperature. Try to figure the times they took before going into action in Siberia and you'll see feeling 10, er, 0, isn't as easy as you might think. See 13 other replies

A PAPR stands for Powered Air-Purifying Respirator. SCUBA stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. What fire-fighters wear with their Bunker Gear is just SCBA, not for Underwater use.
A PAPR is nowhere as effective as an SCBA or SCUBA and aren't even classified together (see OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134). The lack of an external air tank with a PAPR should clue you into that fact. You just clean the ambient air with the PAPR, and you bring your own air to breathe in the SCBA. See 5 other replies

Translates to Irina Bogdanov. I've just paused it at that point to type this. I don't know yet whether they talk about the boat's name or not. All I know is they talked about a "woman's name" as "Sofia" (СОФИЯ) Bogdanov.
Moving on, I'm hoping the scriptwriters didn't screw-up into the boat actually being called Sofia when her name is posted as Irina.

And I'm glad the prez is in the hospital. I don't like his character too much; he's too pig headed, though I understand he needs to protect the planet. Just, in the beginning, he should have sided with Sophia, and now she's out to get him. I kind of can't blame her.

Although now I hope Sophia gets it whereas, before, I was rooting for her and the aliens...lol. 2 billion people and genocide is inexcusable!

The show makes a lot more sense if you assume every character you see is a murdering sociopath. Whoever you assume is the good guy ... Sociopath. Ah but how about that bad guy who might actually be a good guy.... sociopath. How about the character who seems very complex but you don't know what he/she is really about? Also a sociopath.

The lot of them: Grandiose visions and schemes while killing others without remorse.

Makes me really wonder about the writers on this show. Heck somebody might want to look into their past to see how many "accidental" deaths have happened in their proximity in their lifetime.

3 star on scale of 3 star being the average show on NBC. I suppose on an absolute scale I would give it 2.
