It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.”That means a hyperbole is an exaggeration used to evoke strong feelings without being taken literally. (e.g. This bag weighs a ton! or This is taking forever!)The very definition says it is not to be taken literally. Why did you then challenge the fact that it said, “greatest video of all time?” If this was indeed a hyperbole, it would be self-evident that this was an exaggeration.So Larr-Bear, I don’t think this is a hyperbole at all. I remember when MTV was still only videos. As they gradually moved away from that format, MTV would occasionally do a 2 or 3-day top 1000 videos campaign. I’m not sure and I didn’t do the fact check on this one, but I think the video for “Sabotage” was the only video to ever take down Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video on one of those call-in video marathons. This would mean that it is not an exaggeration to call this video “the greatest of all time.” Needless to say it is arguable, but that statement is by no means an exaggeration that was not meant to be taken literally.You may not agree with this, but we all know how a general majority voting system works, and we can accept that although we may not have voted for what won, it is indeed the winner.That last sentence is just all over the place Larry-Larrs. It was not however the person you now refer to as my little idol, or aka MCA, of beloved memory. In fact, by unfairly criticizing the video, and not MCA, the object of the critique is the video and that is what would actually deserve the apology.The idol comment I’ll just let slide, because B”H, I don’t worship or idolize any person as better or holier than anyone else. It doesn’t matter if they’re a successful artist, athlete, politician or religious leader. These are just examples of people who found the talent inside themselves. In fact, I believe everyone is a virtuoso at something, but unfortunately, most people go their entire lives without ever finding what their personal talent is.

It would be much more accurate to say your first post actually “lamented” the passing of MCA, of beloved memory, and then went on to criticize or challenge the fact that “Sabotage” has been hailed by fans and critics alike as arguably the greatest video of all time.What I said in response to that first post was basically that I thought criticizing a highly influential and loved artist’s work on the day of their passing is tasteless and rude, and to please refrain from such behavior. I continue to stand by what I said.

Adam. As long as we are learning to do things, might i suggest you LEARN HOW TO READ? in my review i stated " I feel badly about the dude dying". The reason i came to this video in the first place was HULU posted on my FB page that this was "the greatest video of all time" which, it most assuredly is not. I was not trolling Adam, i was lamenting Hulu's hyperbole and i apologize if you feel i denigrated your little Idol
