This is just one more example of popular science picking the easiest explanation and not the most accurate. Although without actually saying it they are spreading the false interpretation that Bernoulli's principles are the main source of lift.
They show a child holding their hand out of a train, and this creates lift. What is actually happening is Newton's 3rd law of motion, equal and opposite reaction, which is one of the main components of lift.
It is true that Bernoulli's principle does apply, but the way they explain it is false, and wouldn't even account for half of the overall lift.
google "equal transit fallacy" and you will realize that this has been going on for some time
