I think Wanamaker really deserved to win, and I'm glad he was the one who did. He's very dedicated to the fandom, the evangelizes it to anyone who is willing to give the genre a try. I've been a fan of anime and manga for a very long time. I consider myself a casual otaku, I don't have massive collections of merchandise, but I do have a love for the art form in my heart. I think Japanese otaku culture is one of the most unique in the world, anime and manga are really great forms of entertainment which can appeal to anyone of any age. I close enough to attend DC Anime Club meetings. I think I'll go join.
