So they both got Emmys, but who's better? Here's the answer: Daily Show! But only if you watch it before the Colbert Report.

Man, it's obvious this guy has nothing to offer.. richest people born in 1830? who cares. kudos to Colbert for making him look like the idiot he is.

Damn. It's really noticeable in the last shot after he sings. Stephen is a good foot taller than him.

The substitute teacher sketch was funny but also a annoying, only because they made it so obvious how they were twisting the real story. I think generally most sketches have a grain of truth to them but the lady clearly said that they didn't fire the guy for wizardry. And disregarding any feelings I may have about REM, having a performance at the end of the show was un-Colberish and an unwelcome change. Taste in music is personal and very diverse for most people and I think you run the risk of turning off viewers by having unexpected musical acts on a mainly political comedy show. It's probably stupid to complain though since it was only maybe 30 seconds long.

He wasn't a real teacher, he probably had zero educational training. All you have to do as a substiute is follow the directions, and he obviously failed. At his age, unless he is disabled or something, its a ridiculous line of work which explains why he obviously didn't take it very seriously.
