1. Wow another indie sit-com version "expose" on the entertainment industry. a behind the scenes look at what actors go through. HBO did a drama version called "Unscripted" in 2005. So can't say this show is an original concept.
2. Writing needs to be better. More character development. Its one thing to have the situation be the main character in this show. Oh the hijinks and issues that actors have to go through. ie The horrible side jobs to earn a living to pay for Workshops. But seriously it make the writing and especially the dialogue one dimensional. Might as just explain what they are going through. If the characters were more developed, we could see how those characters deal with the situations that "actors" go through. No ensemble feeling, just snippets of the foibles of being and actor in L.A. and trying to "make it". Writing = C+
3. Actors. Some of them are better than the writing lets on. Some of them are horrible. (I mean, stop wasting your parents "investment" and get a job selling insurance or credit analyst at a bank) Acting = C.
So it has funny moments. Real dud moments. But no cohesion because there isn't real character development and personality coming through. Just situations/issues/ and scenarios. Very sophomoric.
