By far, this is the most coherent film I have seen by Bunuel. This one seems to have a beginning, a middle and an end, and nobody is turning into Satan, or bound by invisible walls or anything. Viridiana is home on leave from the convent, and receives an invitation to visit her uncle for a few days before heading back. Reluctantly, she accepts his invitation. At first it seems cool, but there's something odd about Uncle Meat. Before you know it, the nasty old coot slips her some spanish fly and well, you'll find out if you watch. I don't care much for Bunuel, but there are a lot worse movies to waste your time on.
