Man, this guy just suffered from a severe lack of talent. I kind of resent him for having to give such awful reviews. It should come as no surprise to you that his producers were growing increasingly aggravated with Suzuki over the relative unwatchability of his terrible movies. Heavily influenced by the 'ruffies' of the late '50s, there really aren't any original themes in any of his work. At some point they just fired the guy even though he was under contract, saying that his movies were "Incomprehensible garbage" that "Made no money". Not surprising really due to the fact that his movies are decidedly worse than Ed Wood's. Just in case you're reading this and thinking about pointing out to me that Tarantino loves this guy, let me tell you now that Quentin Tarantino is nothing more than a plagiarist who hasn't had one original idea in his career.
