I would have loved to have heard some narration, to put these beautiful shots in some context of Gaudi and the larger body of his work. As it is, this film lovingly presents these unusual and beautiful buildings without context of time, place, or meaning. Thirty minutes into this film, the first words are spoken about renovations of a gate, and it's not even clear which one is discussed.
This is the film to watch after you know a fair amount of Gaudi's work, or ideally, after you've had the luxury of touring Barcelona and seeing it in person. Unfortunately, it cannot help if you want to learn about Gaudi through film.
