well written story of how women during a period of time fell victims in the life of men. the trust of it all, is that women live longer than men. in this film, the women gave birth, work long hours, low paid jobs, abused, and lived to be one-hundred. also, by living longer after living a life of abuse and prostutition, it seems wise to confess your sins. such is the case in this film-like mother, like daughter. in each generation, i think that the women are getting smarter, considering the period, time, and place. the title of the story, the insect woman, says a lot.
