This material is somewhat problematic. It is political, conceptual in presentation(and therefore, artistic), it is even cosmic in it's rammifications. The problem in this is, it denies me my anonymity. Sounds strange doesn't it? It forces one to choose sides in instances where one might prefer to be neutral. Defend what one might prefer to oppose
and oppose that which one secretly admires. This in truth accomplishes what government prefers of the collective, suppression of the individual to the collective agenda! And that is why it is dangerous.
Ultimately it represents a transition into a state of consciousness which challenges the justifiability of our cultural hypocrisies. Here is your ultimate juxtaposition: On one hand,
you have art. But on the other, this represents a subversive act. And the most frightening
impact lies in it's correlations to innocense. It's like the issue of Adam and Eve, it's taken
me awhile to realize. The issue has always been portrayed as the apple, but that was (to me) just symptom. The real issue has always been a question of obedience! On the otherhand, there's a couple of other issues there that no one seems to wish to address.
But, thats another story!
