I tried watching....gave it 30 minutes. Usually I love R. Hauer, but this one seems to have fallen short.

I wanted to like this movie as well, and I did to a certain point, however, I couldn't help but think it was along the lines of "The Bachelor meets a drunken Robert Redford." It has so much potential yet it falls short. I can't say I didn't enjoy it, for I did. Although, I have a little college background in literature and I kept feeling that this film was a bit transparent, lacking in actual depth, while trying to say too much when it actually wasn't. Looking at the previous reviews, I believe too many people to be too critical, as this is an acceptable movie.

Pretentious. Boring. Childish.
As much as I want to like this movie, the nausea it induces is too overwhelming.
Truly deserves '0' stars, and I didn't 'hate' it.
