...So maybe my review won't be totally fair. It wasn't that the characters were overly eccentric, it was just that I didn't care about them whatsoever as characters themselves. Maybe less "showy" and more actual character development would've kept my interest in this circus. Without it it just seemed like a bad, much more obnoxious version of the movie "Spun" .

I enjoyed this movie. It's definitely a movie that you will actually have to sit down and pay attention to. Not Academy award material, but it had some interesting stories in it. Didn't know Burt's body was that nice (laying on the table), and Giancarlo Esposito was not bad looking dressed in drag. This was a Pulp Fiction type movie. Either you'll like it or you won't.

I almost didn't watch it because of the description combined with the thumbnail. I figured it'd be a movie focused on queers acting like 'drama queens'. But the movie is actually really good. It gives the feeling of a play, where it's obvious that everyone is acting, but they do a good job of it and don't take anything to far. The story is also really well balanced, following the lives of three different couples who ultimately meet up for a final outcome. Each couples story receives enough attention to keep the movie enertaining, then all three stories come together in the end. This isn't a movie heavy on plot, social agenda or 'action', it's a movie that is just... a movie.

This movie was so quirky that it blew and sucked at the same time. I mean how many real films did it rip off!?! Not worth the your time. You'd be better off watching grass grow than this toilet bowl masterpiece. I saw them film the hat hot shot when the john throws her the money clip and spoke to the director's girlfriend. I kept my mouth shut about where I thought the movie was going when she told me it was going to be like Plup Fiction. I knew then that it was going direct to video and this was before DVD. Stay loose and watch White Heat. A great film.

This movie tried so hard to be quirky, it forgot to be good. For example, the very shaky "in car" filming of dialogue within luxury cars on smooth streets.
I couldn't finish it. Burt Reynold's first line tells it all, when his character says "To be honest, it wasn't very good." Don't waste your time.

I admit it, I picked this movie because of the thumbnail provided by Hulu. "This looks outrageous," I thought. "What fun!" As soon as Burt Reynolds showed up, I knew I made a big mistake. This never reaches "so bad it's good," but it does reach "this scene is really unpleasant," "why is it so dark in here" and "everybody in the room is uncomfortable and asking me why we're watching this and I don't have an answer."

This is a Tarantino ripoff with fake transvestites and dancing dudebro frogs. I know this sounds massively appealing, but they manage to mess it up.
