The movie was beautiful. Fluidly, it told the story of how you move toward peace and meaning when you are accustomed to lots of materialism and superficiality in a beautiful fluid story. It wasn't choppy and everything made sense. I'm sure many people have reflected on their lives, but this story takes it to the end and you see what can happen if you follow through on your ideas about your purpose as you move away from a complex, materialistic life to one of genuine purpose (involving love) and peace. Peace does not mean that there will not be troubles. But the troubles you encounter will be worth the fight. Really interesting how the character was more concerned with the length of the obit (shortened so I don't reveal too much - just watch). I really enjoyed it.

This movie was beauiful.I loved the writing and the scenery.The lead actor-actress did a wonderful job conveying the message that love pure and simple is what matters most.Love of humanity and the enviroment.The love story between the two of them was so touching it brought me to tears.I wished I had seen this movie before but I am glad I had the chance to finally see it.Great movie, beautifully done.Loved it !

Navigating the Heart has all the earmarks of a Lifetime movie. It is inspired by a true story, it's written with the familiar formula for predictability, and it will give you plenty of smiles.
Jacqueline Smith and Tim Matheson lead a cast of equally talented actors in this glimpse of what it's like to live with, work in, and rely on the salmon industry in British Columbia.
It gives us a taste of how removed political representatives are from the communities they’re supposed to represent and how finance frequently takes precedence over caring about maintaining the flavor and exclusive livelihood of a generational community.
Since you no-doubt will have the entire film figured out within the first 10 minutes, whether or not you'll enjoy the film will rely on how much you like the actors. As for me, I do like these actors so the film was really pleasant to watch.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the film.
