Okay, let me first state that I am anti-teen anything right now. Justin Bieber, Hannah Montana, Selena Gomez...you name it, I am not a fan. I don't like any of their songs because they hold no meaning for me. Yes, I did not like the lyrics to Rebecca Black's song - but like many people have stated, she didn't write them. If you have to blame someone, blame the songwriter.But another thing: worst singer in the world? Come on, you guys. You want to hear bad singers, watch the auditions for American Idol. Most of those people can't even read music or sing in the right key. Like she said, she's not the worst singer in the world - I have heard much worse (myself included, I might add). And plus, she's a kid - a lot of kids have trouble singing on key until they can really control their voices. Just listen to a bunch of first graders sing Hannah Montana and each one will be singing in their own key. It's only a few that can really control their vocal cords well enough at a young age. Give her a break.And if you think it's so bad, you go sing and post your video on youtube. It's a big risk to do that.

She has a good voice.The beat and music to the song are catchy.However, the song lyrics are horrible.It just doesn't seem like someone took the time to string the lyrics together to make a good song.I hope to see Rebecca sing another song to ''redeem'' her talent and hopefully people will get off her back.

all these people invoking hatred, u all are just blowing this way out of proportion and u are making her more famous for no reason. this reminds me of when that retarded asian guy won american idol as a joke. this hatred just mirrors the trash in ur soul. A perfect example of how pathetic and sheepish america is. Just because she didnt have ushers budget(justin bieber) she has no support from minorities(black hispanic etc.) so she is an open target. The funniest thing is there is much worse music out there.(lady gaga anyone?) no.39 on i tunes,with little to no talent, yall just jealous shes the talk of the town. I bet none of u out there could do it.

Were the lyrics any good? No. They were actually pathetic...but..she is trying to just break into music and didn't write them. (like many first trying to break into music). Is her voice god-awful? No. Does the song have a catchy teeny-bopper beat? Actually, yes. Will it appeal to most people reading news articles about it online? Of course not. But I think she should be applauded for being as young as she is and attempting to make a concrete effort to follow her dreams and do so without feeling the need to resort to being the next Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan. She's young, seems innocent, and is holding her own amongst rather vapid attacks. Cmon, how would you feel if it was your daughter trying to learn and make it in the industry, a video she made went viral and she was attacked by people so viciously. What most people seem to be attacking her for are the ridiculous lyrics. She didn't even write them folks. Granted, it could be said that she could have chosen not to sing such goofy ones, but maybe that studio was the only one they really knew of, and they just thought it would give her some experience. I'm sure they never expected it to become a viral video as a result. And the reality is...her target demographic probably WILL be playing this and singing it with their friends. And to those of you wishing death on some 13 year olds? I'd say your problems/issues are far bigger than her problem of choosing bad lyrics or singing through her nose or using auto tune, or even having "mommy and daddy pay for a poor video".
