The history and facts about marijuana in this movie are astonishing to hear when read aloud, and I wholeheartedly agree with everything this movie's trying to convey to the audience, but putting my love of sweet sweet cannibus aside, this was a terrible movie. Except for the clips of stand up and interviews, this movie was barely funny. Guess what? Jokes are made unfunny if you belabor the crap out of the point and beat your audience with your obvious message. The acting was bad, the writing blew and every scene was shot and edited for crap (a b-movie quality you just don't see anymore thanks to Final Cut) constantly cutting in and out from documentary to storyline is just too disruptive to the pacing. It's clear that the filmmakers couldn't choose whether they wanted a documentary or a comedy about weed and they didn't have enough of either to make a decision, so they slapped the two of them together. There are dozens of other documentaries and comedies about weed that are just as informative and way better, such as Grass (1999) a history of marijuana and it's war with the government and Super High Me (2007) a parody of Super Size Me that stars comedian Doug Benson (whose stand up appeared in this lame movie and made it a little better).
