It was the second movie. Where the immortals are from the far past and send themselves to the future to do battle. The first time I saw the second movie, it pissed me off. It ruining the idea of the first film, and I saw them as aliens. The second time seeing the sequel I came to realize they are from an early earth and they are only immortal when sent to the future... it still pissed me off.

But to be honest, I will take a horrible remake or sequel over any reality show. See 4 other replies

It is not illegal to carry a sword. I collect replicas. Several times I have picked one up and saving gas, I decided to ride my bike instead. Hehe, I might get a few occasional odd looks, but never have I been stopped while riding down the road with a sword strapped to my back. See 6 other replies

If you've watched the television series in addition to these movies, you'll soon realize the inconsistencies in what the quickenings are supposed to do for the immortals.Most of the time, the quickening just seems to make the immortal stronger, while at other times quickenings seem to bestow knowledge that the dead immortals possessed. In this case, I think the suggestion was that the quickening was supposed to give the red-haired dude superhuman acrobatic skills. Who knows? See 2 other replies

Yes,this movie is a classic and is freakin' awesome! But it wouldn't be such a bad thing to see it remade,if handled by the right director and producers and also cast correctly. I mean it's nearing 30 years old so a re-do would be pretty cool in my opinion (no disrespect to Sean Connery or Queen or anybody else). I'd go see it. See 23 other replies

I love this movie. You complain about the storyline but it has a beautiful storyline of love lost and evil that lives. Comparing this to films now is like comparing apples and oranges, they are two different film types.

You just know that Connor MacLeod is sitting there at the wrestling match thinking, “OMG, I’m a Loooong way from the Loch!”

@ 18:40 – The coolest priest in the world, that cat has a Mohawk!!

I’m glad they left in the part about MacLeod meeting Rachel; it gets a little confusing when you edit that out. The first time I saw this movie it was edited out and you just don’t get the picture of the relationship he has with her.

I was really happy to be able to see this movie again. I am such a huge fan of this movie, as far as I'm concerned the story begins and ends here; all the sequels and that crap TV series should have never happened. They should have recognized perfection and left it alone.
