I am disappoint.

It's not like I was expecting this series to be great or anything - because I wasn't. I find "otaku", in general, to be rather grating. The reason why I'm disappointed is because the Phoenix segment was such pointless filler. There is a relatively large anime crowd here and a handful of anime conventions. Obviously, this was filmed during con season. Even if they had just talked to a couple people OUTSIDE of a convention (Phoenix Cactus Comicon springs to mind)... at least that would have been SOMETHING.

I guess every city can't be OMGINTERESTING. But since Arizona is my home state, I guess I was hoping for a little effort.

I love S&S's enthusiasm, sincerity, and openness to new cities & culture despite their not getting the big/cool cities like the "Manganoids" keep getting. See 2 other replies

I'm curious as to everyones favorite team. So far for me its a tie between team "S&S" and "manganoids". I wonder who will win by the end of the show???

The show is "so-so" at best so far. The self proclaim otaku's seem more like lukewarm followers then die hard fans, but, the biggest set back it team D&D. They have no personality or tv presence. Even though they have won two challenges I feel like they only give 40% at best. Plus, I don't know if its me, but they don't seem like they are even enjoying themselves. It's like they are only on the show for the travel and free food. They need to cut their tv time and give it to team S&S and manganoids, which I have to say are doing an excellent job. They are professional (informative) and funny. Keep up the good work guy and I hope you drop the dead weight.
