I have to retract my first review of The Academy. The concept of this show is good. However, I have to admit that I inititally reviewed this show immediately after watching both Seasons in one sitting, one after the other. I believe the intensity of the training, the trainers and my desire to see the recruits fulfill their dreams of becoming Deputy Sheriffs completely clouded my judgement.Just for kicks, I decided to watch a few episodes again. It was disgusting to see the "Trainers" laughing and joking about who their choices would be as the next class leaders. The trainers took great delight in mocking the reactions of stress put upon the recruits, in an effort to 'make them stronger'.If this is the way it's done nation wide, so be it. Some things should be kept behind closed doors. I hope for the sake of future recruits for Deputy Sheriffs, the cameras won't be rolling. Good try Fox TV - now go away and let the recruits deal with the TRAINERS without the added stress of your cameras in their faces.Class.... Upon my command - Stop watching me screw up!!
