As a singer/guitarist, Lofgren is best known for his work with Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, yet he has produced a substantial body of work as a solo artist. Nils has lovely songs and lyrics--they are a delight to listen to. But, man! his guitar playing is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed this live acoustic set from 2006! And Buck Brown's talent on keyboards, mandolin and vocals was so in sync with Nils--one jazz piano duet bit he did with Nils toward the last third of the show was great.

Nils is a legend. The Birchmere is a legendary supper club in the D.C./VA area. Put the two together and you have GOLD!
