This is sad. Great chefs that do an excellent job of explaining what they are doing being interrupted by a useless babbling idiot. I had watched her on a season 6 show and tried season 9, hoping there would be a new, competent host, No luck. The show is directed at foodies, but the host is an insult to anyone that watches. I can't believe that made it to season 9. This is the last episode I'll watch, watching with her is too much like nails on a chalkboard. To the chefs, 5 stars. To the host, ZERO.

The chef on his own would be just fine (entertaining, even), but the host is so obnoxious that she renders the show unwatchable... and I can put up with a lot for food.

She somehow manages to be simultaneously condescending, sycophantic, and unbelievably annoying. At every step, she's in the chef's way, while treacly praising him for minor tasks in a "pretty good for a European" tone.

This host takes what could have been a perfectly enjoyable afternoon cooking show, and drags it to the level of a late-night infomercial.

Seriously, this is one of the worst food shows, ever. The hostess is like a large ostrich in the kitchen, for all she brings to the content.

I totally agree. Her voice just becomes irritating and annoying. She needs to let the chefs speak and stop interjecting so often with random anecdotes or paraphrase what the chefs JUST said. See 2 other replies

That is EXACTLY what I thought while watching this. Could not agree more. While she is pretty to look at she really adds nothing else. I think someone with some cooking skills, she obviously has none, would do great. See 2 other replies
