I was so excited I keep pausing the episode to scream and run around my room.. Maybe I should be considered for the otaku! There are some really impressive otaku on cosplay.com, hoping to see some of them in the show

I kind of have to laugh at the people attacking us otaku. We may be nerdy, but we're not a crowd to take harassment while sitting down. Seriously, take your discrimination somewhere else. Or better yet, throw it in the trash, it would make you a better person. See 11 other replies

I tried to ask Tokyopop about it and didn't get much of a response back. Cause you're right. The Seattle area has some of the strongest connections to Japan in the entire country. Definitely some of the biggest conventions too. Oh well I guess... See 2 other replies

If anything, the show is trying to combat the negative connotations to the word. This is a celebration of the the culture, not a condemnation of it. See 9 other replies
