This documentary is made from genuine interviews with, and camera footage from the actual participants. However, they are still edited together to tell the story that the civilian filmmaker wants to tell us. If you remember this while you are watching, and consider the footage that for reasons known only to the filmmaker you aren't seeing, it's a decent look into the lives of one National Guard units deployment. I think a better story would be about why captured insurgents had to be released, or why Chechen and Syrian insurgents were allowed into Iraq, or who paid for them to get there and who supplied them.

All of these "explosions" and "firefights" that are shown here have nothing to do with what the speaker at any present time is actually talking about. They're just taken from a pool of media clips and slapped together. Terrible misrepresentation.

Yes we have ALL heard those 'phrases' before not very original.But what about those that DO KNOW history.Greeko,Roman,European,Asian.American,and have read about war and it's motives,the reasons for,and against it " Those who have read about who PROFITS from war.Have you read these things ?The USA,Carlyle Group,sold a gas additive,made by Standard Oil (ESSO),presided over by Prescott BUSH,to HITLER,so he could bomb the chit out of Europe.GOOGLE it and read some history,twerp.
