...when 30 year olds played teenagers...McQueen was embarrassed about this movie for all of his short 50 year life. The reason he looks decrepit in it is, the moral to the story, don't smoke two packs a day, and you won't drop dead from cancer at 50, or look 45 at 30 playing 18.But this movie has startlingly effective SFX for any time, sufficiently creepy, and the music and sound effects are also first rate. I wish the older dude--Olin Howlin, did a little less whining and a lot more horrific howlin, but he does the best he can.Best viewed on a big screen or a drive in, do the best you can.One good try deserves another.
