I've seen what feels like a zillion of these B type film noirs, but considering this one is unavailable on Netflix, I thought I'd better give it a try brfore my free trial of Hulu Plus runs out. This film is pretty standard B-noir, but it kept me entertained, and the last twenty minutes were a bit nail biting. If you like this genre of film, I'd recommend it for a sleepy Sunday evening. A large selection of the Criterion collection films offered on Hulu Plus are also available on Netflix Watch Instantly, so it's a bit redundant to pay for both services. Hulu better step up their game if they expect people to hang on after the free trial. It's more than a little misleading to say they have a special "in" with Criterion, when the same films are offered on a much larger, more for your money service like Netflix.
