and love the music...makes me so sad like almost all french drama movies.'The face of another' from a japanese director it's also recommended and Almodovar's last one too maybe,haven't seen it anyway.

Follow up a viewing of this film with Pedro Almodóvar's "The Skin I Live In" for an interesting double feature!

This film is pretty subtle compared to how they do horror now, but I actually found myself squirming a few times and I will now be forever horrified by the white marti gras masks every time I go to a craft store O.O The imagery is haunting and while its not a great storyline, it moves at a steady pace.

The crazed-with-grief scientist/serial killer and his devoted accomplice made for a creepy team. I especially love the realistic dialogue and action (carrying the bodies!) and photography -- wonderfully made.
