After having seen many 5 star reviews of this movie, I'll be honest here, I was expecting a heck of a lot more out of it. Is it good? Yeah, but the real problem here is the running time. At almost two hours in length, it tends to drag too much. While it is very watchable, the story could easily have been told in about 86 minutes or so. It runs so long that the ending really doesn't have much impact, due to the fact that you have been given way too much time to figure out what's going on. Having said all that, it is kind of nice to see a French film that doesn't try to be artsy. Bottom line... worth watching even though it's too long.
