This isn't a documentary about gamers. Actually, I wouldn't call it a documentary at all. I'd call it a one sided piece of biased garbage. Firstly, this 'documentary' focuses almost entirely on the cliches and the negatives. It almost down right mocks those who engage in MMO gaming experiences. It also seems like they found the most extreme people to interview just to enhance the idea that all online gamers are freaks who obsess and spend endless amounts of time on the game. Also, this 'documentary' focuses a lot on World of Warcraft. Very few other MMOs, or any other games at all, get any mention in this film.
He didn't bother to mention at all that those conventions they were so easily mocking are sometimes the exact reason why MMOs are so popular. Its PEOPLE connecting with other PEOPLE. Anyone who claims that there's no social interaction between MMO gamers is insanely misinformed.
No matter how much he could have remained unbiased, everything about his stupid running commentary, his facial expressions, and the subtitle comments just screamed, 'I am not making a documentary'.
