The start of any good anime, is a bit of drama. So this girl went from junior high status, with spending money to pauper on the street, and no money. A couple of plot development gliches come to mind. 1. If her grandfather died a year before, where was her income comming from for that year? and 2. If she did so well on her exams, with the great expectations ahead, my not being able to read the Japaneese, why wasn't dhe accepted? She has talent, and is able to withstand what must be crushing depths, and she was one a few that managed the heavy package, as part of a test, to the surface. She must have been rejected from her reasons she gave as to why she would to want to work at the Ocean Institute. Or did the woman in Red have something to with the girl not getting the job she had been working toward? It seems that 15 is a little young to be a graduate from school, with the resoncibilities of adulthood thrust upon her the next day so to speak. So far so good, I like it.
