What is interesting about this film is that, as werewolves typically symbolize a boy's difficult transition into a changing body and increase of hormones in their teenage years, the main character in this film is a post-adolescent female, where the moon correlates with her monthly biology and her monstrous transition is evidence of her inability to manage her emotions during this time, as well as of her sexual yearnings expressed through her constant fantasizing and jealous, vulgar rantings at successful, mating females. Overall, the movie was well below par even for the b-movie/indie-film sub-genres, and at best it is derivative of seventies soft-core.
