epic
Another key episode that sets the path for the next two seasons. Love the Morden character and Ed Wasser´s subtile, threatening portraying of it. The Nightwatch dude was good too, carefully lulling people into joining.
And as for Vir - remember the first episode Morden asked everybody "what do you want?" - he has the tendency of fulfilling his promises ;)

If you watch "In the Shadown of Za' Ha 'Dum," you will die...
... to watch the rest of the series. This episode is pivotal. The series becomes darker... the plots revealed, foreshadowed and twisted... the character arcs begin to steepen... moral compasses will begin to malfunction... -- it is time. Pouchlings (newcomers) and First Ones (Bab5heads), beware of the Shadows.
