Aside from that, again this episode shows that the only thing G'kar and the rest of the Narn care about is revenge and the killing of as many Centauri as they could. If you believe they are the victims then you really need to rethink the ideals of good and bad. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Thank goodness the show doesn't end here. I can't believe that Garabaldi actually helped them get weapons. I guess he just wanted to help the underdog. And the test is what? Self sacrifice. Does that mean the Vorlons don't care about the lives of 1 person as long as it's laid down for a good reason? And who decides that reason?

Though I do agree w/ most of what you(or JMS, i'm not sure if that all is quote from ep.) say/quote, esp. the removal of chains, Freedom, mistakes, I have a hard time accepting the impossibility of not being able to "know thyself". It is indeed a hard thing to grasp and know, along w/being a life long discovery to achieve, maybe. However, just b/c things are constantly changing, doesn't mean everything is changing. we do develop and evolve in certain ways, but man's nature is ever unchanging. It's the particulars that differ, not who we are. Our being remains constant, yet is covered in accidents. It is hard to know thyself, simply b/c we have to continually tear away at all the little changing aspects to get to an understanding of who we are. That's why experience and learning from it is so important, as is the past and all of human history. Man's nature in always what is had been See 2 other replies

Poor Sebastian got what he deserved for murdering those people back in 1888. Not fun getting on the bad side of the Vorlons.
We're getting closer and closer to an all out war. The Shadows are nearly done creating chaos and war to weaken potential forces that may turn against them. Sheridan is putting the Rangers to use to see how good they can be. Delenn has proved herself to be the right person at the right time in the right place to Kosh.
Can't wait for season finale.

yea its pretty clear thats supposed to be jack the ripper.
Not sure if his last line was meant to be foreshadowing Sheridan's anonymity in the days after presumably the darkness is defeated, unless he has somehow been given insight into the future.

I first learned of this show when I read about it in a forward by the author of the Order of the Stick series, Rich. He said that he gained much of his inspiration from this show because of how early it sowed plot points that were intended to be resolved more than a dozen episodes later.

Imagine my surprise and joy when I learned of Babylon 5's existance on Hulu. I watched the first two seasons in a week. I enjoyed it very much, to say the least, and with great ferver await the posting of other seasons.
