I love the irony of that whole subplot and the rather quirky criticism of our own conflicts implied by that. Satirically exaggerated but I guess the green Drazi leaders' words about flags and human conflict are the message that the author wanted to convey. That's what always fascinated me about B5: it is witty, clever, thrilling and exciting sci-fi with a spin on the real world (as every good sci-fi has). That and that humans are not necessarily the nice and reasonable race (e.g. as in Star Trek). Given our history, that seems to be so much more likely.
