The absurdities of life is captured brilliantly in this intelligent and artistic endeavor. One man's life anyway and his viewpoint of it.
I ended up crying for his friend whom I found the most sympathetic of characters. So if it moved me to feel deeply, to connect with a character at that level, then, yes, the film succeeded.
Art does not always aim to please, but to express the ideas and struggles of humanity. The great issue of "what does it all mean?"
I thought that this film did that with a dark farce that revealed truth.
Loved the locations, choice of framing and lighting and settings for this film.
