Watched shark tank then I'm three minutes into this episode.....
Got a possibly the worst business idea and model ever. Did they ever consider identity security issues if they actually scale the company up? Even if this company actually go big and handled all the security issues AND people actually find the company's services convenient, why make them think billions of mailers would instead use e-mails to mail the recipients if the scanned counterparts are sufficient. Why in the world would people to pay others to scan a digitized documents (most mails content are now typed & printed) then emailed to recipients, when we are in an age of free email accounts from Gmail, MSN and Yahoo etc.
Banks and many utility companies already have paperless billing options long time ago, and billions already use e-mail to send otherwise mailed text contents. I only agree with them on one point - that paper-content mails are going obsolete, but not because the Earth Class Mail is going to take out USPS' mail services. The reason for paper-mails going obsolete actually became apparent to everybody in the 1960's with the invention of E-mail model.
To those who actually subscribe to their service: Either you got way too much money to waste or you are _______ (ordinary people should be able to fill in the blank).
People might wonder why i rated the show 5 stars, well, even though the idea is stupid, the show's still good in showcasing Start-up Junkies, and how companies with stupid ideas fail.
