I have been hooked on watching all of the episodes of "Welcome back, Kotter" for about a week now here on Hulu. I asked my father if he had any recommendations for TV shows that were on when he was my age (late 20's) and this was his top pick. I have to say he couldn't have made a better recommendation. This stuff is comic gold that never gets old :)Not only is the comedy a steady and strong element to this show, but it integrates important real-world lessons and does a wonderful job of showing just how hard Kotter works to better the Sweat Hogs' lives. This two-part episode in particular brings the relationship that Kotter has with his kids to the forefront, making it clearly evident just how strong the bonds between these characters is, all the while sneaking in laugh after laugh.Too bad they don't make shows like this one anymore.
