Not sure how much of a comedy it was, like a less funny Bevaeraly Hills Cop. Most the actors only really mastered how to be use anger and profanity to get their pont across.

Kevin Kline stars as a dective that realises there's more to life than who you where; it's who you can be. The supporting cast is adequately filled out. Susan Sarondon fails to be bright, but only because she wasn't given a chance to shine. Overall a good film to pass some time with.
Rod Steiger has always been an actor I like, and this movie is classic Steiger (especially when he gets wound up). Not your typical murder mystery / cop movie though, the crime and criminal almost play a supporting role to the relationship of the main characters. Still, a good movie and glad I watched it.
I had never heard of this movie before. Kevin Kline's a great actor. I thought Gina actually died in Scarface, I've never seen her in anything else. The girl in the beginning has a great rack. Kind of reminds me of The Boondock Saint's. Brilliant detective that's flamboyant and has the same haircut. Ninja.
