In real life, the prosecuting attorney who is sleeping with the judge hearing the case should have recused him/herself from the case or risk being disbarred. Same goes with the judge regardless whether this is his last case. The story line was ridiculous, Approaching the judge's bench whispering her love for him was ridiculous. As if the bailiff could not overhear the conversation.
