Catty's right. There is a big difference between Hong Kong and China. Much more between Taiwan and China, since they're two different countries (like the US and Canada). I like Taiwan's drinking culture better; there's an underlying stress about drinking in China. Hong Kong is pretty fun too, but much more $$$ than China or Taiwan. More like drinking in LA or NYC. But one thing that is interesting (irrelevant to 3 sheets) is that if you want to fly from HK to China you need to buy an international ticket...so i don't know how HK is "part" of China.

I've watched this show alot on TV... but i think somebody should make a list recording where Zane either buys a bottle for his viewers to drink if they mention it or where a bottle is reserved only for viewers (even if they have to buy the Drink)

I dont think anyone will make their travel plans because they can get a shot... but if they are going to that country or city or something... they might stop in at that bar.

This seems like a good enough spot that we can just name them when we see them. (then i'm putting a flag on my Google Earth)

I agree, they were not talking about China, they were talking about Hong Kong, it even said so in the beginning of the episode. Also Taipei in Taiwan has its own episode. I think Catty was talking about people whom did not pay attention.

I didn't get the impression this episode was trying to explore the drinking culture of China by visiting Hong Kong. Instead, they were exploring Hong Hong's own distinct drinking culture. (They made a point to make the distinction between Hong Kong and China toward the beginning of the episode.)Though granted, episodes where they visit localities in China would be interesting.

but not really share Chinese culture. you want to know the drinking culture of China, you gotta go to China, I mean GO TO CHINA, not Hong Kong, not Taiwan, seriously, why people think they go to hong kong, taiwan, that's China, you don't know anything about China, if you don't go to mainland China. .....

what's wrong with people....

I take chinese in high school, i have been taking it for 3 years. i dabbled in french, spanish, and latin. i can honestly say, Chinese is the hardest language i have ever seen
