Amazing facts from in-depth studies of the species. As mentioned in other reviews, the music is quite good, but I don't recommend eating while watching, as some of the subject matter is downright disgusting. One side of me thinks that it is great that these scientists have discovered so much about these tiny creatures, but another side of me resents the way the scientists have disturbed and destroyed their homes or relocated them to labs. It's just another form of fishing or hunting or raising livestock for food - what man does to other creatures for his own benefit - it simply galls me. But if you have ever dealt with carpenter ants or termites in your home, it's not easy to overlook the harm they can subject us to, so I'll accept what the scientists had to do to make this film.
