I have loved this movie since I was a small child. My Granny (Momma) told me to sit down Lilles in the Fields about to come on. I did not want to watch NO Lilies grow. But little did I know it would be the best Movie ever. Sidney is just Awesome... Thanks Momma

How can you help but love this movie. And the amazing part is that it was filmed in 14 days with a budget of $240K -- now THAT'S a miracle!

Sidney Poitier was really into his character. One glitch I found was at 1:13 where his character is giving orders to the Mexican laborers in ENGLISH and they know what to do. To save time and money the filmmakers have you assume that the workers know English.
