The T bird was not burning oil. that was just condensation. Its what happens when a car first gets warmed up and the moisture in the pipes heat up and turn to steam. all cars do it. And the longer the car sits with out being driven the more moisture can build up in the pipes and thus more noticable smoke. its more noticable on cold days than hot.It stops when the motor and exhuast gets hot enough and the water is completly evaporated from the exhuast system. also it will do that on real cold days regardless if there is water in the exhuast system. You can tell its not oil because the color is white not blue, Blue smoke = oil.Coolaint will burn white but Its not collant because if you notice the "smoke" goes away very fast and if it was cooliant burning the smoke would stay visable in the air. if it was burning rich "to much gas vs air" The smoke would be black.
