If you need modern day car chase scenes, CGI, main stream story lines this is not your type of movie. It goes without saying I need none of those & found this to be an interesting movie. The intensity was not high right out of the starting gate but the end made up for it. It kept my interest piqued through out between the family dynamics, the love story & of course the standard vampire fare "Who is getting it next?"
FYI-The precursor to this is The Blood Drinkers (1967?)a lot of the same actors & same locations. A variation on the vampire theme but the acting was much better in this one. Can also be found on HULU
