I realize that while Highlander the series is perhaps the greatest and most kick azz television show of all time (I quicken in my pants at least once an episode), it's plagued by some serious plot holes. (not to mention bad writing, acting, etc.) The one I'm most concerned with is the number of decapitated bodies that are left in Duncan's wake. What's happening to the bodies after a quickening? Do they disappear, or does Duncan dispose of them? Neither of these seem to be the case. In the episode, "unholy alliance part I," Joe Dawson mentions that the two immortals whom Xavier St. Cloud kills were shot before they were beheaded. This implies that watchers discovered the bodies sometime after St. cloud and his cronies left and that they don't disappear. In the episode, "the vampire," Duncan kills Nicholas Ward in the middle of the day in what seems to be any area that is at the very least, near a heavily populated area. It seems difficult to dispose of a body under those conditions, or under any conditions which Duncan usually finds himself after a quickening. Additionally, Duncan has been shown simply walking away from the scene of the quickenings. There is that season 1 episode when he buries the crazy mountain man immortal who kidnapped tessa. And the time he found Darius' body. I guess I've answered my own question. Lame. The bodies should just disappear.
