Your age is showing, young'un. Lon Chaney, Jr. played a villain, as usual. Smiley Burnett played the deputy sheriff. Most significantly, you missed the one and only Roy Rogers (at this time still using his real name, Leonard Slye) as one of the Sons of the Pioneers (which he had founded in 1934).
This is just plain fun to watch, especially seeing Lon Chaney, Jr. playing a deputy sheriff. The charisma of Gene Autry and the mystique of the golden West, won me over completely.
