This was a WW11 story that was well written, and told a very realistic story of events that
transpired during that era to many Jews, and those that were not of the German Aryan
race as they called it. I would have to agree with another post here with a comment from
Herbert on the question of Why was there not more resistance? Please understand this
is not meant to be anything said in a negative way concerning these Jews and others
caught up in this web of inhumanity, but watching these reenactments this question is
one that must be on the minds of many that have heard and watched this type of thing.
And though some would say, well you would take on a different viewpoint if it were happening to you! Well, know I don't believe so. I have been in situations were death
was visiting my doorstep and I spit in his face, and close that door. Not that I wasn't
scared out of my mind, and not that it happened without consequences. But everytime
we hear recounts, there are at least 20 or more jews for every 1 armed german soldier!
So it looks like though there is no longer an element of surprise, someone would do
something! I think we need more stories of people resisting, I know there must of have
been a great deal more.
