I could not agree more with Sirhc Dev's remarks! Random gears and goggles do NOT steampunk make! Where's the technology? And,putting it on another world? Well...maybe if Jules Verne was there, but...? and the set decoration doesn't say steampunk at all...where are the steam powered gadgets? The thing that really got me was the hospital scene and there's this very modern Office Depot type desk lamp beside her, IN ALUMINUM!!! Fer crying out loud, even if they would've just switched to a brass bankers lamp it would've served the steampunk theme FAR better! And,lack of budget is NO excuse: creativity (and maybe a little metallic spray paint,heehee) goes a long way, just look at any Steam-con.... or,look at the videos "The League of Steam" make: you can't tell me THEY have any kind of a budget, but they do just fine in getting the look! The plot and story I kinda like...I just wish they would either go all the way with the steampunk look or all the way with the faux medeival Fantasy look...and,I gotta be honest,the faux medieval fantasy look would probably serve the story better!
