while the acting was a bit stilted -- or was it the dialogue? -- the music is sung so beautifully by the inimitable Dolly Parton that tears come to my eyes thru the music -- lovely lovely lovely.

This movie was ok, not really good. I love Dolly and all, but it has a weak storyline and that song started getting on my nerves after hearing it a dozen times throughout the movie! They played it entirely too much and the movie would have been better if they hadn't!

I also keep having trouble with this video only. Before this day, I tried to play this video, it needed to be reloaded over & over again; I gave up. I figure that I would try again tonight, the same thing keeps happening, needing to be reloaded. I guess that I won't be watching 'Blue Valley Songbird' by Dolly Pardon. I'm not going to reload this movie all the way through the hour & half that it plays. It just too bad that I can't watch this movie, it looks like a good one. See 3 other replies
